What happens to a password-protected file?

Reordering pages means rewriting the document's page tree, and that cannot be done through the encryption, so the restriction is given up in order to make the edit. The tool says so on the result rather than quietly handing back an unrestricted file, because a silent loss is the real bug.

Do the pages I delete really leave the file?

Yes. The result is written as a full save rather than appended to the original, so a deleted page's content is not left behind in the bytes for anybody who reads the file rather than its page list.

Can I rotate pages as well as reorder them?

Yes. You can pick which pages to keep, drag them into a new order and turn individual pages, all against thumbnails of the real document.

Are my files uploaded?

No. The pages are drawn and rewritten inside this browser tab, and the document never leaves your device.
